This program will train individuals who already possess competence in network administration to develop a comprehensive set of skills required to ensure cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity technicians are often called upon to promote security best practices within their organizations and can act as critical resource people for a variety of security and training needs. They regularly stay informed of developments in their field in order to stay current with their security measures. Cybersecurity technicians often work in collaboration with network administrators and other IT professionals in managing accesses and digital identities, as well as the configuration of equipment in the cases of cyberattacks. Currently, this job function is in high-demand as many businesses are under cyber-threat and need skilled individuals to protect their infrastructures.
